Everyday Uses For Clove Oil-Outside Of Your Kitchen

Posted on Apr 7th, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma

Plant Origin: Madagascar, Spice Island

Extraction Method:  Steam distilled from bud and stem

Clove Oil is a powerful Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil long known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antifungal properties. It is also stimulating and revitalizing and is great for dietary, topical or aromatic use.

Whole cloves are of course an important cooking spice, and clove oil can be used to prevent food poisoning, as it is able to kill some food-borne bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus.

Taken internally, Therapeutic-Grade Essential Clove Oil is helpful for treating the gas discomfort that often comes with peptic ulcers. This effect has to do with the numbing of pain rather than the actual reduction of gas.

Powerful self-healing remedies and general information;

  • Clove Oil is also good for numbing the pain of a toothache and can be used in place of conventional numbing agents before dental work.

  • The chief component of Clove Oil is eugenol, and it has been shown to be as effective as the commonly used benzocaine in numbing the gums.

  • It can be beneficial for removing corns from your toes.  One drop directly on the
corn, wait a few minutes after each application, remove dead tissue with a pumice stone or emery file and repeat.

  • For those who wish to stop smoking, a drop  on the tongue every time you have the urge.

  • Using Clove Oil topically spreads warmth and numbs pain. It can be irritating to the skin, so it is a good idea to dilute your Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil with a quality vegetable oil such as olive oil if you find that you are sensitive to the oil on your skin.

  • Germany's Commission E has approved the use of clove oil as a topical antiseptic and anesthetic. It's great to keep on hand for cleaning and numbing small cuts and scrapes and eliminating the pain of toothaches.

  • Clove oil is also a powerful antioxidant and has immune system enhancing properties. This Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil has tested the highest of any ingredient when it comes to its antioxidant capacity.

  • The best Clove Oil comes from the flower buds of the clove shrub, which is an evergreen native to Indonesia. Some companies make clove oil out of the leaves and stems of the clove plant, which does not make as high quality a product.

  • Clove oil should not be given to infants or children younger than six because of the possibility of stomach upset.

  • When taken internally, it should be diluted, with one drop of therapeutic-grade essential oil added to four ounces of vegetable oil before adding it to a capsule. The same dilution should be used when applying clove oil to the skin.

Women who are pregnant should consult with a doctor before using clove oil. For others, Clove Oil can cause an allergic reaction, particularly in its undiluted form. People with kidney or liver problems, or who have bleeding disorders or take blood thinners, should not use Clove Oil.

Clove Oil is an incredibly useful Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil that is great for stimulating the immune system, easing pain and inflammation and numbing the mouth, meaning you'll find even more uses for clove outside of the kitchen than you do inside.

RECOMMENDATION: Always wash and rinse your hands thoroughly before and after the use of therapeutic-grade essential oils.  Also avoid contact with your eyes. Keep all therapeutic-grade essential oils out of children's reach.

Try Ginger For Stress Related And Sea Sickness Upset Stomachs

Posted on Apr 7th, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma
Plant Origin:  China

Extraction Method:  Steamed distilled from root

Ginger is well known as a culinary herb used in Asian cooking, but did you know it's also a great therapeutic-grade essential oil? Ginger oil is wonderful for treating upset stomachs, as well as easing the ache of tired muscles and improving circulation.

Ginger oil has a strong, spicy but earthy smell and can be used topically, aromatically or internally. It is considered quite safe and should not cause allergic reactions, but it can cause photosensitivity. When taken internally, one drop should be diluted in four ounces of liquid, such as rice or soy milk, before consuming.

Some powerful self-healing remedies and general information:

  • To use Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil of Ginger on your skin, dilute 50-50 in a vegetable oil or olive oil. Ginger oil is a nice addition to your body scrub and massage oil, as it can calm symptoms of arthritis, ease minor aches and pains, and make you feel warmer as it improves your circulation.

  • The warming properties of ginger oil make it a wonderful choice for a soothing yet invigorating bath. Put a few drops of ginger oil in the water when you have a cold or flu and relax your pains, and even your fever, away.

  • Therapeutic-Grade Ginger Essential Oil can be used internally to treat nausea, indigestion, sea sickness and similar stomach upsets. Eating ginger is often recommended as a treatment for morning sickness, but check with your doctor before you take ginger oil internally if you are pregnant. It also shouldn't be used on infants and small children.

  • A couple of drops of ginger oil on a handkerchief, when inhaled, can also calm a nervous stomach. If you know you have a travel sensitivity, for instance, you can pack a ginger-infused handkerchief and inhale the scent when you start to feel uncomfortable.

  • Another good use for Ginger Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil is treating bruises and sores on the skin. Adding ginger oil to a carrier oil or a lotion and rubbing it on affected areas should speed healing and calm any pain associated with the injury.

  • Inhaling ginger oil is said to eliminate feelings of lethargy and loneliness, and some people consider it an aphrodisiac, probably because of its ability to increase blood circulation.

  • Its strong, spicy scent might also have something to do with its romantic reputation. Next time your sweetheart comes home stressed out from a long day at work, try a back or foot massage with ginger oil. It might do more than just relax their tired muscles!

Ginger oil is a wonderful therapeutic-grade essential oil to keep on hand for treating stomach upset and aches and pains. It is wonderfully versatile and quite effective at making you feel better and improving your mood.

RECOMMENDATION:  Always wash and rinse your hands thoroughly, before and after the use of therapeutic-grade essential oils, also avoid contact with your eyes.  Keep all therapeutic-grade essential oils out of childrens reach.

How To Spice Up Your Healing Power Secrets With Nutmeg.

Posted on Apr 7th, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma

Plant Origin:  Tunisia, Indonesia

Extraction Method:  Steam distilled from fruits and seeds

Nutmeg is well known as an herb (a plant or plant part valued for medicinal or savory qualities), used in cooking, particularly baking. It is one of those scents that say fall and winter to some people because it is often added to sweet potato pies, spice cookies, eggnog, hot apple cider, and other cool-weather treats.

But therapeutic-grade essential oil of nutmeg is another good way to keep nutmeg in your home space. This oil has a rich, sweet, warm and spicy fragrant  that is similar to that of the spice (something that adds interest and relish), but most people find it even richer and more fragrant.

Self healing remedies and general uses:

  • Nutmeg therapeutic-grade essential oil has potent anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant, antiseptic, anti-parasitic, and analgesic properties and is supportive of the liver, nervous, and endocrine system. It may be helpful for easing nervousness and is thought to increase vivid dreaming, though it also can be quite stimulating and is thought to be an aphrodisiac. It's no wonder that nutmeg therapeutic-grade essential oil is comforting and soothing and can help boost your energy, given its culinary use as a rather festive spice.

  • As a dietary supplement it is thought to support normal circulation.

  • Therapeutic-grade essential oil of nutmeg may help with digestive disorders as well.

  • Nutmeg oil has been used in self healing remedies for muscle aches, fatigue and the pain associated with arthritis and rheumatism.

  • Therapeutic-grade essential nutmeg oil is also popular in hair tonics and shampoos. It is thought to be anti-parasitic.

  • While therapeutic-grade essential nutmeg oil is generally used by inhaling, diffusing, and as a dietary supplement.  It should always be diluted, one drop to four ounces of rice, soy, or almond milk, before being used as a dietary supplement.

  • Nutmeg therapeutic-grade essential oil should be diluted, 1-2 drops in a carrier oil such as olive oil before being used directly on the skin.

  • For a food flavoring, all you will need is a toothpick dipping worth. Taste, then adjust accordingly and enjoy "in joy."

Please Note: Nutmeg oil should not be used on infants or small children. If you are pregnant or under a doctor's care, check with your doctor before using this oil. It shouldn't be used near sparks or open flames. As with all therapeutic-grade essential oils, make sure you wash and rinse your hands thoroughly before and after working with the oil and be careful not to get it in your eyes. Keep all therapeutic - grade essential oils out of the reach of children

You Can Have Your Personal Stress Reduction Regimen.

Balancing Your Stressed Body With Ledum Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil.

Plant Origin: North America

Extraction Method:  Steam distilled

Ledum is a therapeutic-grade essential oil that not a lot of people have heard of, but it is anti-inflammatory, anti tumor, antibacterial, acts like a diuretic, and supports the liver.

The strongly aromatic herb, was used by native people of Eastern Canada for tea, as a general tonic, and treated a variety of kidney related problems.  North American native people used Ledum herb against scurvy for more than 5,000 years.  Other native people used it for fevers and colds.

The Ledum herb is also known as Labrador tea or Greenland moss. It is powerful, not often used by beginners, but it could be very helpful as a general tonic.

Powerful pure plant self healing remedies:

  • When taken in a tea, Ledum Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil can calm the stomach, and it's also good for relieving feelings of nervousness.

  • It is calming and has been used as a way to let out pent up emotions, as well as reducing insomnia.

  • It is good for the digestive system and supports the health of the liver.

  • It is also a good oil to use for helping the respiratory system, bringing comfort to cold and flu symptoms including sore throat, nausea, aches and pains, coughs and congestion.

  • Using Ledum Oil in a cold diffuser is said to help boost the immune system.

  • It is thought that therapeutic-grade essential oil of Ledum is particularly helpful during the recuperation process to rebuild the immune system after an illness. This is a more valuable use of Ledum Oil than taking it while you are sick.

  • Ledum Oil is wonderful for detoxification of the body as well, especially the liver and kidneys.

  •  It is also thought to be helpful for the thyroid.

  • Ledum Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil has been used to support both hyperthyroid and hypothyroid, because it is useful for bringing the body back into balance, no matter what extreme it is on.

  • Ledum Oil is most often used topically or in a diffuser, but it can also be taken internally at a rate of two drops a day in vegetable caps. This is the preferred dosage for immune system support.

Always check with a naturopath or health care professional before taking therapeutic-grade essential Ledum Oil internally, especially if you are pregnant or under the care of a doctor.

It shouldn't be used on infants or small children and should be kept out of their reach. When used externally, it should be diluted with a quality vegetable oil, especially when used on areas of sensitive skin such as the face and neck.

Because of its strong smell, it's a wonderful idea to mix therapeutic-grade essential oil with another, nicer smelling oil. Peppermint oil, for instance, would be a good choice because of the smell and because its properties are similar for calming the stomach.

Ledum Oil is truly a support - all, and is a wonderful tonic for all sorts of ailments, obesity, and water retention, so it's a great choice for your natural medicine cabinet.

RECOMMENDATION:  Always wash and rinse your hands thoroughly, before and after the use of therapeutic-grade essential oils, and also avoid contact with your eyes.

Keep therapeutic-grade essential oils out of children's reach.

Weight Loss With Citrus Fresh, Ledum and Grapefruit

Posted on Apr 7th, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma

Author: Tiffany Rowan    Read my other testimonials
Posted: 2005-05-25

While I was in Dallas in January of 2003 to listen to Gary Young speak, I took notes of his recipe for weight loss. He said that saturation was the key to weight loss and cancer. He described how the body stores environmental toxins in our fat cells to save them from being deposited in our organs and wreaking havoc. Toxins saturate the cells with a filmy layer and prevent them from taking in nutrition. This continues a cycle where we grow more fat cells which can store more toxins and we keep getting larger and larger. We aren't growing more blood veins to carry nutrition to these new outer layers of fat cells, and so we aren't able to effectively loose weight at the rate we would like. Essential oils digest the filmy layer that saturates the cell wall and the essential oil's high content of oxygen piggy backs nutrients into the cell.

I recognized most of the oils in his recipe were in the blend named Citrus Fresh. So I ignored his recipes and I bought Citrus Fresh, Grapefruit, Ledum and some capsules. The Citrus Fresh with Ledum breaks up the fat and the Grapefruit by capsule digests the fat. This is what I did according to memory. I am retelling this story a year and a half later. I lost almost three inches in six weeks. (That's all I had left to lose.) This happened in March/April of 2003. Please keep in mind that cellulite is literally toxins being stored in the fat cells. My experience may have happened more quickly than for some of you because I have been using natural medicines, clean water, and natural personal care products for years. My body has not accumulated the type and amount of toxins that most people have. Please be patient if you have more to lose than I did or if it takes you longer because of the type of toxins you are carrying. Other people have tried to lose inches with Citrus Fresh and Grapefruit without adding the Ledum, or they tried these oils but they diluted them, or they tried using them sparingly. Saturation is the key. Follow this recipe exactly or it won't work for you.

The first night I put ten drops of Ledum into the bottle of Citrus Fresh. I swallowed two capsules, 10 drops each, of Grapefruit. I dotted the bottle of Citrus Fresh about every inch apart across my hips and rounded belly. I wrapped myself in cellophane and went to bed. About two hours later I needed to pee. (Some of these oils are diuretics.) About two hours after that, I was awakened with the feeling that something had broken loose. I continued to feel this throughout the night for about four more times. I had to pee about every two hours, but returned to sleep quickly after each trip to the bathroom. (Try citrus fresh over the liver for a great night's happy sleep).

The cellophane was Dr. Young's recommendation to keep the oils from evaporating and therefore working longer. It made me sweaty so I didn't wear it any more after the first night. For the next two weeks, I continued to generously dot the bottle of Citrus Fresh to my hips and belly and take the two capsules of Grapefruit. I noticed that my left hip was larger than the other because I couldn't reach that side with my right hand. So I stopped putting the Citrus Fresh on the right side until I got the left side evened out. After two weeks, I went to one capsule of Grapefruit a night because I wanted the bottle to last me until the next month when I would order some more. After about the sixth week, I took one capsule every three days for maintenance, and I dotted the Citrus Fresh on about once every week. I became pregnant after that and discontinued both of these oils.

I lost almost three inches in six weeks. My skin firmed up nice and tight. My jaw line firmed up where I put the Citrus Fresh. The grapefruit balanced out my hormones, and I began to have a regular menstrual cycle without pain or discomfort. This regimen did cause the cholesterol to come out in the form of acne, but I kept my complexion clean with lemon oil. I only use Young Living brand essential oils because of their unadulterated purity. Young Living goes through long rigorous processes to guarantee that every bottle exceeds FDA standards and that the essence of every plant is still in tact. DON'T internally take oils from another company. They could harm you. My testimony is based on my experience with Young Living oils and their documented science. I don't trust anyone else.

Nine months after I had my sixth child, I tried this again. The oils sent hormone messages which began my periods again. I had to wait till three months after breastfeeding ended before I could successfully try this again. Except this time I used Cel-Lite Magic. I cannot attribute my weight-loss to JUST Cel-Lite Magic because I began using Power Meal for breakfast, and began applying parts of Chronobiotic Nutrition (protein before 3 and carbs after 3 with no snacking after dinner). I do attribute ALL of my skin-firming and disappearance of spider veins to Cel-Lite Magic.

FDA Attacks Complementary & Alternative Healthcare

Posted on Apr 18th, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma
by John F. Gilbert, Ph.D.
 - President/NTCB

I just spent three days reading, re-reading, researching and discussing the proposed FDA guidelines for "Complementary and Alternative Medicine" with two FDA attorneys. You can download a copy of this proposal for yourself at: http://www.fda.gov/ohrms/dockets/dockets/06d0480/06d0480.htm.

When I first heard about this FDA attack on complementary and alternative health care, I considered it another "Chicken Little" rumor. On further study, I'm appalled at the speed with which the pharmaceutical companies are implementing Codex Alimentarius in the USA. If you don't suspect the pharmaceutical companies control the FDA, you may want to research that further by visiting http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/.

This insidious proposal is designed to redefine every complementary and alternative health care modality and product as "medicine." This has direct implications on the services and products provided by every alternative health care professional. There is no facet of complementary and alternative health care that is not affected. If the FDA adopts this proposal, all natural health care would be illegal even for medical doctors.

Essential oils, herbs, herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies, minerals, nutritional supplements, plant enzymes and vitamins are redefined in this proposal as "medicine." Very simply, medicine is under the jurisdiction of the FDA and, by law, only licensed medical doctors may prescribe "medicines." Anybody else who advises, advocates, counsels, distributes, markets, recommends or suggests anybody use "medicine" is practicing medicine without a license. This is a felony in the USA punishable by fines and incarceration.

Aromatherapy, auricular therapy, biofeedback, color therapy, homeopathy, hypnotism, naturopathy, neurotherapy, nutritional consulting, reflexology, sound therapy and wellness consulting are among the alternative health modalities being redefined as "Alternative Medicine." This subtle change of vocabulary from "alternative health care" to "alternative medicine" makes all of these industries subject to control by the FDA as medicine. Only medical doctors would be allowed to provide, prescribe and supervise the delivery of these services. Anybody else who provided any of these services would be practicing medicine without a license and subject to incarceration and fines.

That's the bad news. The good news is we have until April 30, 2007 to voice our opinion against this proposal to eliminate complementary and alternative health care in America. Almost 100,000 people have already filed their objection. According to Dr. Rima Laibow, medical director of the Natural Therapies Foundation, we need 50 times that many people to respond by the end of the month.

Please stand up and be counted. Go to http://tinyurl.com/2u7ghc and file your petition in support of natural health care, in support of complementary and alternative health care as we know it today. If you require more information, please visit http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/ or read the FDA proposed policy at

Relaxation With Ylang Ylang Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil

Posted on Apr 19th, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma

Ylang Ylang is a wonderful Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil to use to bring about a sense of calm and relaxation. It can be quite beneficiall for reducing feelings of tension, anger and irritability.

It might even make you feel a little bit more romantic. The sweet-smelling flowers have long been used in Indonesia to decorate a new couple's marriage bed. Ylang Ylang Oil is often used in men's colognes for a different floral fragrance than rose, which is commonly used in women's perfumes.

Ylang Ylang  Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil  has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-parasitic properties and can be used topically or internally. It usually does not need to be diluted when used externally, as it will only cause irritation to those with very sensitive skin, and is actually helpful for treating skin irritation. When taken internally, a drop should be added to four ounces of liquid such as rice or soy milk before consuming.

Plant Origin:  Commores, Indonesia, Philippines

Extraction Method:  Steam distilled from flowers

Some powerful self healing remedies and general use include:

  • Ylang Ylang Oil is a great stress buster and is wonderful to combine with other stress-reducing Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oils, like lavender to create a soothing massage oil. Even if you don't have someone around who can give you a massage, you can rub the oil into your hands or temples and neck to receive the peaceful effects of the oil.

  • Another good external use of Ylang Ylang Oil is as a hair treatment. Using Ylang Ylang to produce more luxuriant, shiny hair has been popular in Asia for a long time. The oil can be applied directly to the hair or added to an oil that is massaged into the hair, allowed to sit for a while and then rinsed off.

  • You can also add a drop to your hair brush before brushing your hair to get the benefits all the time. Some people say that Ylang Ylang may also be helpful in growing hair or treating dandruff.

  • As a dietary supplement, Ylang Ylang Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil is said to reduce high blood pressure, calm rapid breathing and rapid heartbeat, and perhaps support self healing intestinal problems.

  • Excessive use of Ylang Ylang Oil can cause headaches, but there are few other known side effects of using the oil. It is considered safe for all people over the age of 2.

  • When diffused and inhaled, Ylang Ylang can enhance spiritual attunement, combat anger and low-self esteem, and increase focus of thoughts.

While using Ylang Ylang Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil to help you relax is probably the most popular use for the oil, it's also a great treatment for your hair and can help calm your body inside and out. It's a great oil to have on hand if you like giving or receiving massages, and is a wonderful drug-free way to bring a little peace and calm into your life.

RECOMMENDATION:  Always wash and rinse your hands thoroughly, before and after the use of therapeutic-grade essential oils, also avoid contact with your eyes.  Keep all therapeutic-grade essential oils out of the reach of children.

  • Peppermint oil can aid in eliminating gas, abdominal cramps and bloating. It's a wonderful addition to a glass of water (one drop in four ounces or two drops in eight ounces of water) for drinking after consuming a large meal.

  • Applying therapeutic-grade peppermint essential oil to other areas of the body, like adding it to a warm foot bath and soaking your tired sore feet for 15 minutes, can relieve muscle tension, joint discomfort, and aid in the relaxation process.

  • Therapeutic-grade essential oil of peppermint can also be used as a mouthwash, to ease toothaches and clean out the mouth. And you thought mint was just in toothpaste because it tastes good!

Peppermint oil is a great pure plant remedy and a go-to therapeutic-grade essential oil for stomach ailments and aches and pains, from headaches to joint pain. It smells great, too, so you'll want to use it all the time in supporting a self healing process.

Peppermint oil can cause skin sensitivity, so dilute the oil 1:2 in a quality vegetable oil if you are sensitive to other oils. Never take undiluted peppermint oil as a dietary supplement. Ask your doctor about the level of peppermint you can handle if you are pregnant, and don't use it on infants or small children. Don't use peppermint oil if you have chronic heartburn. Do not apply to open wounds or broken skin.

Always wash and rinse your hands thoroughly, before and after the use of peppermint oil.  Avoid contact with your eyes. Keep all therapeutic-grade essential oils out of the reach of children.

Would Your Agree, Networking Works, When You Work It?

Posted on Apr 21st, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma

It Can Happen To You Too.

Attending marketing conferences con be one of those things to put at the top of your business plan under the education "tab."

You might say, "well I have been to so many workshops, presentations, seminars, conferences , etc and people never follow through on their promises of networking and building relationships." Well, that is their problem and LOSS.

There are so many ways to market on the internet; it will literally make your head spin.

Last weekend I attended a 3 Day Internet Marketing Madness Seminar. Hosted by Matt Bacak and wife Stephanie Bacak in Atlanta, GA.

It was awesome, electrifying, entertaining, and mind blowing with tons of information. There was something there for everyone. Free lunch for the ladies and dinner for the VIP's on Sat.

Some special highlights for me and what actually happened to me.

I love books, and guest what?

I met Tracy Repchuk, who was sitting right behind me, who just launched her book, "31 Days to Millionaire Marketing Miracles" Friday, April 13, 2007, her birthday. And Judy M. Johnson, was sitting two seats to my right, just published a new book "Tapping into Joy"

It got better!

Speaker, Alex Carroll, author of "Beat The Cop", from Santa Barbara, CA was compelling, entertaining, resourceful, bottom line, and delivered everything you need to cash in on the FREE radio publicity gold mine. He called it "Fame & Fortune Doing Radio Interviews" . Make Millions Lying In Bed with a line phone.

I do article marketing, and guest what?

I met Jeff Herring 'The Article Guy"

There was a star studded line up; Matt Bacak, author "Secrets of the Internet Millionaire Mind" , who calls his laptop an ATM machine spitting out cash, Drew Miles, Mike Stewart, Ray Edwards - the master copywriter, Jason Orman, author "Conversations with Millionaires" , Harris Fellman, Adam Ginsberg - the Ebay guy, Jo Han Mok - from Singapore performed some great magic and was a master marketer, Brett Smith, and more...

It got even better!

When was the last time you had lunch with a billionaire?

Well, I did as I had been advised... NET Work.

I found myself eating lunch with Ernest Chu, who was promoting his forthcoming book, "Soul Currency." Read more..

I am the proud recipient of a copy his new CD "7 Days to Prosperity & Peace"

Ernest Chu is an ordained Religious Science Assistant Minister At Religious Science, Ft Lauderdale, Fla and he did a powerful transforming prayer treatment with me.

Now, that is really what happened to me.

Why This Happens And

What You Must Do Now.

Your Are About To Learn...wellness is not just about

your symptoms, its about your life

For over 30 years, as a registered professional

nurse, I have seen to many humans

suffer needlessly from lack of knowledge or

they simply refused to become proactive

concerning their well being.

There are 3 kinds of people in this world,,,

...those who want things to happen, those

that make things happen, and those who just

wonder what the heck happened!

We Are Exposed To More Toxins In Food, Water,

Polluants, Chemicals, Stress, And People In One Day

Than Most of Our Grand Parent Were In Their Entire Lifetime.

It takes from 10 to 20 years for a build up of toxins in the

body.  We now have over 70,000 chemicals used in the

USA and more waiting to be approved.

That means that any human over 20 years of age is traumatized
and maybe don't even know it, because they appear to be well.

  • Breathing clean begins at home
  • Add a new slant to your life
  • Nurture your body, mind and spirit.
  • Relax and rejuvenate effortlessly

Take Control Of Your Life

Studies at New York University proved the amygdala gland (the gland

in the limbic system of the brain that stores and releases trauma in the body)

does not respond to sound or sight or touch, but ONLY releases emotional

trauma through the sense of smell.

I had allergies to all trees and grasses and my daughter
who was 11 at the time was allergic to molds, cats saliva,
grass, dust, etc., we used to go for allergy shots, then
brought the shots home and tried Hisminal, Claritin,
anything over-the-counter.  I was so bad once I went on
Predispose until the side effects were so bad I decided to
try Lavender oil that I had been told about but didn't
believe.

Within two weeks of using 2 drops of lavender
on the bottom of my feet and 2 drops applied to the forehead,
temples and back of the neck I noticed dramatic results.
I have not used over-the-counter medicine since or
needed to.

I can mow the lawn and have no trouble.  If it's a really
high pollen day, I use 1 drop of lavender on a Q-tip and
swab my nostrils.

Gotta love these oils.

How To Benefit From A Pure Plant Skin Care Remedy Secrets

Posted on Apr 24th, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma

Plant Origin: Philippines

Extraction Method: Steam-distilled from the gum of the tree

Elemi oil is one therapeutic-grade essential oil that many people have not heard of. This oil comes from a plant that is a relative of the trees that produce both frankincense and myrrh, and like those oils, it is has anti-inflammatory properties useful in the self healing process of respiratory ailments.

In addition to helping with respiratory problems, elemi therapeutic-grade essential oil, which smells spicy and somewhat like incense, is has been used in Europe for hundreds of years in salves for skin problems and is include in celebrated healing ointments.

Elemi oil can be irritating to sensitive skin, so it's a good idea to test the oil on your skin before applying it to a large area or dilute the oil 1-3 drops in ½ oz olive oil or any quality vegetable  carrier oil. When in doubt, or no carrier oil, use safely on the bottom of  your feet.

Some powerful self healing remedy secrets and general uses:

  • Another good use for elemi oil on the skin is for reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles when used topically on chakras/vitaflex/acupuncture points.
  • Elemi therapeutic-grade essential oil is also helpful for clearing the mind, very beneficial in the process of emotional release techniques, and it can encourage a feeling of calm.
  • It is often used in diffusing therapeutic-grade essential oil blends that are very conducive to meditation and is thought to assist people with their visualization process, as well as bringing about a feeling of peace.
  • In addition to all of these useful properties, elemi oil is also thought to be helpful for easing muscle pain after a workout when added to your massage oil/cream.
  • It is said to be restorative, stimulating and warming and is thought to be helpful for revitalizing the spirits.
  • It is a wonderful therapeutic-grade essential oil to blend with other oils such as rose and sandalwood for a spicy, invigorating and somewhat aphrodisiac blend.

When working with therapeutic-grade essential oils, remember to wash and rinse your hands thoroughly, before and after working with the oil and be careful not to get it in your eyes, especially when applying it to the skin around the eyes.  Keep all therapeutic-grade essential oils out of the reach of children.

Some Amazing Facts About Fungus

I am a medical technologist as well as a Reiki Master practitioner. I have done some scientific experiments with the most common nail fungus and thought I would share it with you. First of all, Fungus is not bacteria. Yeast and fungus belong to a totally different group of pathogens (organisms capable of causing disease). They do not respond to antibiotics the way that bacteria such as Staph or Strep do. They are resistant to most of those drugs. They respond wonderfully to Meleleuca and even better to Lemongrass.
However the Lemongrass tends to discolor the nail and the nail bed.

I conducted a disc diffusion test (sensitivity testing) in a laboratory setting whereby I tested 3 discs against the most common fungus -  Candida. I tested Meleleuca, Lemongrass, and a Mel/Lem combo. I inoculated agar in a petri dish with the Candida and then dropped the discs impregnated with the test material onto the agar. The organism was then incubated and allowed to grow. A zone of inhibition around the disc is an indication that the organism is "Sensitive" to the test material. That means the fungus cannot grow in the presence of that substance. Meleleuca and gave a small zone of inhibition (@15 mm); Lem/Mel together gave about a 21 mm zone; but the Lemongrass by itself  had a zone of over 70 mm! The results were amazing proof to me that  Lemongrass is by far the best oil for the job if one can put up with the temporary discoloration.
 Thanks ... Linda

Good News And Better News

Posted on Apr 27th, 2007 by Miss Emma : Seeker of Truth Miss Emma

Good News and Better News

You are busy so here are the bottom line news items on the FDA Guidance battle we are in right now:

Public Comment Period Extended: Natural Solutions Foundation's formal request for an extension for Public Comments was turned down BUT then the FDA did extend the comment period to May 29, 2007!

Natural Solutions Foundation website, wwwHealthFreedomUSA.org, was attacked  -- again-- but is now up and running.

We have time to get at millions of  comments in to the FDA!  If every person who  submitted comments (or tried to) can motivate just ten people to do the same, we would have, by today's count, 3.7 million pro-health freedom comments in to the FDA by the end of May!

155,905 people have successfully submitted their comments through our site which is, as far as we know, the ONLY way to send comments to the FDA which will be received at this time. Use the "Take Action Now!" link on our home page, http://www.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?key=334703980&url_num=3&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.HealthFreedomUSA.org.

220,154 people have tried to submit comments through our site and were unable to.  If you are one of them, go back and try again, please.

Dr. Ron Paul, (R, TX) who is running for President, has announced that he will be submitting his comments on the FDA CAM Guidance indicating his belief that this is a serious issue.

Our data entry staff are working hard to make sure your comments are submitted if you are using Plan B (send an email to dr.laibow@gmail.com with "submit" as the subject and your name and address in the body.  REMEMBER to included your address or we cannot submit for you).

Our supporters list has increased by nine times since we blew the whistle on the FDA's dangerous CAM (Complementary and Alternative Modalities) Guidance and its unfounded extention of what US law says -- we are ringing a bell people can hear!

The battle rages: we have ignited a firestorm and people are weighing in on whether we should be worried about the CAM Guidance (we most certainly should) or whether we can trust the FDA to a. tell the truth and b. protect natural health over pharmaceutical intersts.  If you are on the "b." side, you do not know the history of the FDA and natural health and you also might be interested in the Brooklyn Bridge which I understand is for sale!

General Stubblebine and I are at the Ottawa, Canada, meeting Codex Committee on Food Labeling (CCFL). We have submitted formal comments to the FDA and Codex Office of the US Government.  I will post these comments and daily reports on the CCFL proceedings on my blo.  Click on our website and then go to the "Blog" tab at the top of the page.  Organic Standards, Genetically Modified Food Labeling and the right to share information about health benefits of foods and not have that action be considered "advertising" are on the docket.

The Natural Solutions Foundation will be there and will keep you posted.

Health Freedom is NOT free.  We did not anticipate, for example, having to hire data entry people to make sure your comments could reach the FDA.  Please rememember to give generously by making a tax deductible contribution , http://www.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?key=334703980&url_num=5&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.healthfreedomusa.org%2Findex.php%3Fpage_id%3D189 , to help up keep on keeping you.

Yours in health and freedom,
